Provide individual and family counseling to children and adolescents, as well as women with postpartum mood disorders and individuals coping with physical disabilities.

Clinical Assistant, Preventive Psychiatry Associates, Inc., San Francisco, CA 2002-present
Conduct forensically oriented psychological interviews and evaluations, locally and nationally, of both adults and children exposed to various traumata. Assist in report writing, research, testing, evaluation and timelining of medical, psychological, and legal records. Assist in writing “life care plans” and determining monetary compensation for our clients.

School Therapist, The Children’s Psychological Health Center – Cornerstone Therapeutic Preschool, San Francisco, CA October 2000 to August 2002
Conducted daily psychodynamic in classroom psychotherapy sessions with children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. Populations served included SED, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, Autistic Spectrum, PDD, Attachment Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, and foster children. Provided parent guidance on a weekly basis. Engaged in weekly individual supervision with Dr. Gilbert Kliman, MD. Advocated for children’s rights via the public school system, IEP’s, legal means, CPS and others. Assisted in training other clinicians in the “Cornerstone Method”.

Clinical Intern, The Braille Institute, Santa Barbara, CA 1999-2000
Conducted both group and individual psychotherapy sessions for blind/VI students, both on campus and through community outreach, who were coping with ongoing or recent vision loss. Designed and implemented several different psychoeducational groups for the visually impaired. Attended various trainings including sighted guide training, cane training and assistive technology trainings.

Graduate Assistant to the Director of Disabled Student Services., University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth, Dartmouth, MA  September 1997 to June 1998.
Provided academic tutoring and counseling to clients of D.S.S. Advocated for students, wrote letters on their behalf and communicated with faculty regarding assistive learning.

Provided psychological support to patients with terminal illnesses and their families, both at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and at Hospice of the Central Coast.

Served as a telephone counselor to people in crisis.
